Your only job is to enjoy it.

The hotel is booked. The guide is waiting. Dinner is reserved at a table for our group. If a train runs late or a bag goes missing, you tell me and I take it from there.

On my hosted trips, I travel with a small group from the first day to the last. You get the ease of a group trip with a personal travel advisor right there with you.

Plus you’ll be sharing it with people who are just as excited about the trip as you are. Somebody to compare photos with at dinner. Somebody who wants to read every plaque in the museum too.

What is a hosted trip? It’s a small group trip planned by a travel advisor who also travels with the group. Everything is arranged ahead of time. Your host is with you the whole way to handle the details and help with anything that comes up.

Hosted Trip Questions

What is a hosted trip?

A hosted trip is a small group trip planned by a travel advisor who also travels with the group. Hotels, transfers, guided touring and special experiences are arranged ahead of time. The host is with the group for the whole trip.

Who hosts Jess Peterman Travel’s hosted trips?

Jess Peterman, an independent luxury travel advisor and owner of Jess Peterman Travel, plans and hosts each trip in person. Her husband, Randy, is co-hosting Portugal in Full Color in September 2027.

What hosted trips are coming up?

Portugal in Full Color is a 12-day hosted trip from Porto to the Douro Valley and Lisbon in late September 2027. Two hosted trips are being planned for 2028: a luxury Danube river cruise with a group stay in Vienna in early 2028 plus a land trip through Scotland and Ireland in fall 2028.

How is a hosted trip different from a group tour?

On a hosted trip, the person who planned the trip travels with the group. Travelers have one trusted contact who knows every detail, instead of being handed off to a large tour company.

Can solo travelers join a hosted trip?

Yes. Solo travelers are welcome. Jess shares the room options and any single supplement for each trip when details are released.

How do I hear about new hosted trips first?

Newsletter subscribers hear about new hosted trips before they are announced publicly. Travelers can also email jess@jesspeterman.com to ask for early notice.
