Portugal, Fall 2027.
Be the First in Line.
Food, wine, history, and local experiences, shared with a small group of curious travelers. I’ll handle the details so you can connect with Portugal, enjoy the people around you and be present for the trip.
A small hosted group designed for connection — with Portugal, with the culture and with the people you’re traveling alongside.
The food. The wine.
The history you can feel.
You’ve been thinking about Portugal for a while. This is the is the trip where you don’t have to figure out every detail yourself — just show up, be curious and enjoy the trip.
Be first to know when this opens.
A small group, limited spots, and details that go to this list before anywhere else.
Add your name and I’ll send the first details when Portugal 2027 is ready to share.
Built for more than checking places off a list.
This hosted Portugal trip is being designed around shared experiences — good food, local wine, beautiful places, history you can feel and time to enjoy the country without managing every detail yourself.
You’ll have the structure of a well-planned itinerary, the connection of a small group, and the ease of knowing the moving parts are being handled.
You’re not the project manager on this one. You’re just there, experiencing it alongside people who travel the same way you do.
This trip is for you if…
- You want to experience Portugal through food, wine, history, and culture — not just see it from a tour bus window.
- You like the idea of traveling with a small group of kind, curious people who are there for the same reasons you are.
- You want unique, local experiences without spending hours researching and coordinating everything yourself.
- You want enough structure to feel taken care of, with room to enjoy where you are and wander when you feel like it.
Hosted by Jess Peterman
I’m on the ground with the group the entire time, not sending updates from home. I plan the trip, manage everything that comes up and make sure you spend your energy on Portugal, not on logistics. This is not a packet-and-goodbye situation. jesspeterman.com
“What I loved most was that the itinerary was packed with many options….including DOING NOTHING! Which I loved and opted for a time or two. Our group had literally every option. You are the most thoughtful travel planner I have ever worked with. Looking forward to our next adventure.”
Here’s a look at what’s waiting in Lisbon.
Wine and Food at Sunset
Lisbon looks best from the water. You’ll be on the Tagus as the city turns gold, tasting wines from across Portugal with local bites. One of those evenings nobody wants to end.
Day Trip to Sintra
Forty minutes from Lisbon and it feels like a different century. Pena Palace, the Moorish Castle, and views that stop you mid-sentence. Worth every minute of the drive.
Tile Painting Workshop
Portugal’s azulejo tiles are everywhere you look. This workshop teaches you why — and you go home with one you made yourself. One of the best afternoons on the trip.
Hosted Welcome Dinner
The trip starts with everyone at the same table. A proper first night together that sets the tone and makes everything that follows feel a little more like traveling with people you already know.
